Momme is the weight of silk. 19 momme is light, cool and fluid, perfect for a short robe you wear every morning, like the Vestaglia Capri. 22 momme has more body and glow, which is why we use it for the Kimono Amalfi and the floor length Vestaglia Lunga Portofino. Mulberry silk has the longest, most even fibres, so it is smoother and stronger than other silks. It is the standard for luxury robes.
Which robe size should I choose?
S/M fits US sizes 0 to 10 and L/XL fits 12 to 16. Robes are cut generously, so choose by shoulder width.
Can a silk robe be machine washed?
We recommend hand washing in cold water with a silk detergent, or dry cleaning. Never wring and dry flat in the shade.
